  1. My frugal indulgence is popsicles. I don't know why they feel indulgent, except I guess I think of non-concentrated juice as both expensive and high-calorie and I just don't buy it often. But one jar of organic juice makes a whole flat of popsicles that we can enjoy for days or weeks, so that seems a lot more reasonable. Currently the freezer is full of peach nectar popsicles!

  2. I just found out how easy it is to save $8 by baking weeds...! I really love the crispy kale snacks they sell for huge amounts of money in health food stores. Turns out it's ridiculously easy to make, and I already knew that kale is easy to grow. It's basically a weed. We have it in our front garden. So you just rip up the leaves, shake them around in a bit of olive oil and sea salt, and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Yum! Healthy! Cheap!

  3. I definitely need to get on the fruit juice popsicle bandwagon. And I love Suki's baked kale discovery! Just last month I splurged on baked kale at the grocery store and I felt so guilty about it afterwards. :)
